My sister Dana was recruited to the army last week, and here's the card I made for her (from me and our brother) :
We also bought her chocolate bars with writings - "good luck", "thank you" and "with love", and wished her "Good luck in your service, thank you for guarding us and the country! With love, Omer & Adi". In addition we made her a "time table" - we wrote a sentence with 25 letters, each letter represent one month of service. On the last day of every month she colors this month's letter until the end of her service in 24 months! And what is the sentence? "When this sentence is over, I'll be free!" (in Hebrew it is 24 letters... "כשהמשפט הזה ייגמר אני אשתחרר").
